Ah, it's been a long time since I last lurked in here. The past few months had been crazy, there was almost no time for cosplay. 
I'll keep this brief as I gotta run again--
This costume was commissioned 3 years ago, when I was at the brink of Plastic Tree addiction. Arimura Ryutaro is my favorite band member, so I knew I just had to cosplay him at least once. I know there's no semblance between me and him, as he is sublime, but... Ah, for the love of it, you know?
You might be wondering why I chose that title when it's got nothing to do with the costume, or that it doesn't exist on the songs the band made... but I'd like to think of it as something that I feel every time I go out and cosplay-- You have fun, but at the back of your head, there's this thought nagging that you somehow need to be perfect, act the part and be so anal, because people are looking at you; observing everything that you do.
I'm not one of those really well-known people in the community, but I'm not also striving for popularity. But in one way or another, you get pressured because of some people's expectations. I do have fun most of the time, but sometimes, it gets tiring, you know? Others pinpointing what you should and should not do. Sure, you need to improve on several aspects most of the time, but... Ah, I can't explain it.
Bottomline, it's something akin to ambivalence regarding portraying a character and being yourself.

Sorry for not being familiar with what you were cosplaying but at the very least you never fail to look badass in each cosplay. The costume is very well done.
